I'm doing my best to avoid packing my suitcase, instead I've been watching old Hoechlin/Teen Wolf cast videos on YT while updating my iTunes with new music for the train ride tomorrow. #procrastinatinglikeaboss

I'm so excited about Colton in Arrow, I really love the show and from what I've read his character will be around for a while. So yeah, there'll be more Colton on my screen in the foreseeable future. \0/

Not to mention elf!Hoechlin, he's just so ridiculous. ♥

The Hoechlin tag was quite ok when he posted the pic this morning (or late evening in LA) but I've seen a few frantic posts in the Sterek tag (and what seems to be one anonymous person who sent comments a la 'Sterek will never become canon, deal with it' to several ask boxes). Overall it's ok I think (I didn't check the Teen Wolf tag, though).

What would fandom be without a daily dose of ~drama~. xP

3. THAT BTS PIC: Ok, so here's the thing. I am very much aboard the Sterek ship. Obsessed with it, is probably a fair term but I am also realistic. IF it is gonna happen in the show, it isn't gonna be straightaway. Nor should it be. Like any good love story, there are always obstacles (or in this case other people/relationships) along the way. I am much more interested in seeing them develop the friendship between Derek and Stiles first anyway. However, I will freely admit to being a little jealous of that girl, purely cause she gets to have Dylan put his hands on her face.

Wow, number 3 turned out to be way longer than I intended.

I ship Derek/Stiles like I'm getting paid for it but my fandom or shipping happiness doesn't necessarily depend on seeing the pairing in canon. Needless to say I'd be over the moon if we'd get canon!Sterek at some point but I won't cry if it doesn't happen either. There's so much awesome fic written about these two, for now that's good enough for me. And surely I wouldn't expect to see them together from episode 03.01 on anyway.

If I've learned anything about vague spoilers like this BTS pic it is that 80-90% of the time they turn out differently in the finished episode anyway. So even if the girl is Stiles' childhood crush (interesting how they mentioned that little detail in an article about tax refunds in the Californian TV filming industry...), would it mean more than that they sat in a sandbox together in kindergarten and he liked her a lot until Lydia came along in grade 3? So far we don't even know whether she'll be around for just one

I found that 'childhood crush' thing interesting too. I think given that Stiles has been crushing on Lydia for the longest time and we've never heard a thing about this other girl before, well...I reckon there's a lot more to her than we can gather from one pic.

You're right about Stiles and Derek, they aren't friends yet but it seems like the next logical step to me. They've been thrown together time and again due to various circumstances and I think the new Alpha pack being there, could provide the basis for a development in their connection to each other. Besides, wouldn't it be interesting watching Stiles trying to maintain his friendship with Scott, whilst balancing a new friendship with Derek?

Elf Tyler is a beautiful thing. (he continues to ruin my life with his rugged cuteness)

Potential love interest for stiles is a sweet thing, (boy needs some loving derek or other)

not knowing what our merlin boys are up to is a frustrationg thing. (just let us know soon boys)

and packing for long weekends is a horrid thing. (personally I always over estimate how much I'll need, bleagh)
