OMG...they seem to stress on tears & tissues :'''''(
So Morgana wants to take over Camelot (nothing new here) but this time she wants to destroy Emrys too. It seems that, even though Mordred joined her, he didn't tell her that Merlin is Emrys, his only target is Arthur.
& something tells me there WILL be a magic reveal but not sure if they'll do it justice. *frets*
At this stage I'm left hoping that at least they will not concoct some strange reason to have Mordred keep Emrys's identity from Morgana. That if nothing else, they'll let his enemies know who they're dealing with in Merlin. But these synopsises leave me doubtful about that. :/ And as for the ultimate ending, hankies surely would be called for whether both A and M survive or not..... so we're still left speculating and worrying.
I'd been worried that A/M would be separated for the majority of the finale so this bit about 513 - 'wisely, the writers have made that rapport the heart of this finale, through all the epic battles and swooping dragons.' - gives me hope.
I also continue to boggle at the idea that the answer to 'Can he find the strength to save the man he made a King, the Camelot they fought to build, and the brotherhood they shared?' could be anything other than a resounding YES.
