Ever since they announced his return at SDCC, Tony Head's appearance is actually the most exciting thing I'm looking forward to in S5 (a bit sad but true). \0/

Oh well, knowing TPTB/Merlin writers I don't expect too much from those scenes but I hope they'll be great nonetheless. Especially the Merlin/Uther talk about Arthur.

I'm pretty sure it'll be first half. Colin spoke about it at the SDCC, said it'll be very emotional for Merlin and mentioned that there will be a confrontation.

Yay! ASH returning, even for one episode, is great news. And the scenes he will be involved with do not sound too bad. I hope this episode delivers.

this is the first season 5 spoiler that as actually excited me and not filled me with anxiety.am really excited to have uther back,this was the best writen antagonist to merlin in the show and am gald he will get to have a scene with merlin.

I really want Uther to tell Arthur the truth about the circumstances of his death so that Arthur will know once and for all that Morgana and Agravaine were to blame instead of Merlin/Dragoon. I also don't know how IC Uther's approval of the role Merlin (and his magic) plays in his son's destiny exactly is, but I still want it and think we'll get it.
