Way too many people write 'definately' (*shudders*), one should think they'd go for 'separating' in a heartbeat (and apostrophes are highly overrated anyway).
Anyway, the game looks interesting (err, you can tell that I have absolutely NO idea what I'm talking about, I wouldn't know how to switch on a Nintendo DS, let alone play a game D: ) and I hope people'll like it.
I haven't the faintest idea how to use/play video games either, but it's nice to see that they've used real photos for at least part of it. Maybe I should buy it anyway, just for the pretty... I'm sure someone in my household would let me look over their shoulder as they play it. :)
OK, so I'm confused... There are two games? The Nintendo DS one, with the comic book style screen caps above, and also the Facebook one, with the manga style cartoon characters...? I'd been assuming they were one and the same thing! Silly me. :-)
I'd been assuming they were one and the same thing! Silly me. :-) Nope, they're two completely different things. The manga style cartoon characters FB game can only played online (on FB, you need to be signed up to FB as well), the comic book style characters Nintendo DS game is an entirely different game and can only be played on a Nintendo DS device.
"So, we can tell stories together with the TV show by season six." Jumping the gun, are they?
I'll buy the DS for my kids and have them play it for me - since they had better game manipulation skills back at age 6 than I ever will in my lifetime. Not sure about the Facebook game - if its RP-based I might try it - my attempt at Bubble Witch stalled me at level 8, while my husband and friends went on to the 100's I think...
Nice to see these are out but unfortunately I have neither a Facebook or a Nintendo DS. Much as I love "Merlin" it won't make me sign up to Facebook and I think a Nintendo DS would be wasted on someone as cack-handed as me!
I checked what a Nintendo DS device costs and yeah, as much as I love Merlin, that's not going to happen. I'll probably take a look at the FB game but since it seems you're forced to play it together with friends/others, I know for certain that's not going to be my thing either. Apart from that I'm simply too much of a games!idiot. I can play easy electronic versions of Mahjong and Sudoku but that's about as complicated a computer game I manage to play. :P
Just to repeat myself for the umpteenth time: I wish they'd release some audio books. That would actually be a merchandising product I'd appreciate like nothing else.
It amuses me to no end how they reduce Arthur's horror stricken 'NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!' face to 'stares helplessly'. Oh well, at least they remembered he's one of the popular cast members and is included in the game.
