Hee! You are such a sweetheart! I'm glad you liked the postcard. :-) As you probably realise, you can actually see both filming locations in this shot. Fountain Court - where they filmed the confrontations - is the open area within the castle, with the green grass and the flat plinth. And the magic boat took Merlin and Gaius round the moat, and they entered through the little doorway you can see at water level on the left there...
And you've no idea how chuffed I feel that I have the honour of my own tag on your lj... Gosh! *blushes*
I wish you could come over here right now, so we could do our own little Merlin locations tour... *wistful sigh* ♥♥♥
As you probably realise, you can actually see both filming locations in this shot. Yesss, I can see that - that's the reason why I love aerial pics, amazing!
And of course you have your own tag, my darling, to be honest I have a few posts I'll have to re-tag but I'll save that for another day.
WHY ISN'T BEAMING INVENTED YET???? I'D BEAM MYSELF OVER TO YOU IN A SECOND AND WE WOULD HAVE SO MUCH FUN TOGEHTER. *sigh* I MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH... ❤
Oh sorry! Of course you already picked that up. That was just me belatedly realising I'd chosen the card rather better than I thought I had! :-D (Still not sure why the moat looks so green, mind you...)
I'm missing you, too, hon... Hope you're enjoying being at home again! ♥
Well it's still in the very early stages of planning. But a friend of mine said she always wanted to visit Wales, and well since Merlin I also really want to go and see it :-) We're planning on staying in Cardiff for a few days and then hopefully taking a bustour into the countryside for a few days.
Awww that looks amazing. Growing up with an architect/interior designer (my father) and seeing the work it takes before building even commences and then to watch the building process I've always admired architecture and especially medieval ones as that ties into my love of history and classical... so to get to my point I love and adore seeing pictures like this and castles. I would love to see them in person ...
BTW: I have a postcard for you... Upon seeing this post I went through my collection of New Zealand post cards and one made me think of you ...

That does look awesome!
I already saw some pics of the castle when Feilongfan went there in June
It really seems like an amazing place.
Perhaps I'll go there next year, as I'm now about to plan my vacation to Wales for 2010 ;-)
