I was very happy to see some of the deleted scenes that I'd actually seen filmed get into these (Gaius telling the old woman off and the dropping of coins into hands).

Oh, I really wish the deleted scenes from ep. 1 and 2 hadn't been deleted. They add to the show a lot, imo.

Yeah for a while I was wondering if they would ever show that Gaius scene we saw filmed (and that Gwen Merlin scene)

Yes, we never did see the Gwen/Merlin scene. I guess it was just a filler scene, though.

Wow, I've only watched the batch from the first ep of the season and I can't believe how much I liked them all. I can't believe they were cut. Adorable Merlin in glasses is adorable!
