I found the book and the Cheryl Campbell version very moving. I'm really looking forward to this, I just wish Colin had been Roland!

I think the role of Victor Richardson has much tougher scenes that require technical acting ability so maybe that's why he went for that role instead. And it has all the elements of what he likes... Also, he doesn't seem to go for romantic "leading man" types of roles.

It looks to be a good movie, Vera seemed to be an interesting woman
