I take that cover to mean that the Globe finally admits to being fully aware of who the big draw(s) of that particular performance REALLY were. Better late than never.
Well, Colin certainly put bums in the seats, that's for sure! (And, of course, Roger Allam did as well, but Colin brought all kinds of NEW fans into the world of Shakespeare)
But yeah, I think that, in general, the parts of Prospero and Ariel are the largest in the play, aren't they?
Prospero, surely, - for the rest I don't know. I suppose Ariel has less dialogue than several others, but more physical acting/presence?
TBH I think if they were being fair there'd be a glimpse of James Garnon's Caliban on the front there, because he stood head and shoulders above everyone else on that stage. And I say this as a BIG Colin fan. But he's less immediately recognizable to a wider audience than Colin and Roger, I suppose.
