They are losing viewers every week. Maybe that should tell them something?

Probably that the writing for S2 needs to be DARKER and the CGI above Hollywood standards? After all that was the secret to Merlin's success, right? :P

I've got to admit, Saturday's episode was very good - if they could sustain that quality the show would deserve additional seasons. However, 1 hit and 8 misses does not inspire confidence...

I finally saw the first two. The initial one was boring and the second one wasn't much better. Recognized Merlin locations, too. We'll see how it goes.

Spoiler - Jason never again refers to the present. Why did they even bother with that? There was so much potential in the idea. Never does he use modern knowledge (except mythology), and hello? Weren't you searching for your father? Guess how much time he spends searching. (Hint: the amount is zero.)

Sorry, long day at work.

Haha, at least the Js managed to preserve their Merlin Plot Hole Generator for use in Atlantis. Too bad that wasn't why people watched the show...

No need to apologize. You are totally right! The original idea has completely gone out of the window. I had actually (almost) forgotten that he was supposed to do that!
