ChicagoTribune: 'Merlin' star Rupert Young dishes on his fellow knights
The cast and crew of "Merlin" finished filming the fifth and final season quite awhile ago, but that doesn't mean they don't see each other any more. According to Rupert Young, many of the actors still get together. With that in mind, I asked Young to do an exercise in which I ( Read more... )

Awww, that was very sweet, very personal. I wonder what he meant when he said Tom was needy? He was the youngest for a long time... maybe that? Makes me ache to meet Adetomiwa someday, in a non-fan/celeb situation, so I could enjoy his brilliant conversation. Well, okay, all of them, really, but Tom, Tomiwa, and Rupert most of all....

It warms my heart to read good and positive things about the guys. They're all pretty special in their own way are they not? ♥
(what he said on Colin and Ade *.*)

LOL, I remember Katie saying she couldn't play ping pong with Bradley cause he was too competitive XD
Must be really true XD

Interesting! I smiled at everyone being in awe of Santiago's coolness. Somehow I can totally see that.

Welcoming Colin, competitive Bradley.... yes, sounds pretty spot-on.

That was a lovely read and very interesting. It is funny, just like someone already said, how their real life character seems to shine through in the characters they played.
Bradley and competitive - yes. It is easy to see that. But if he is so competitive why have we heard about no more projects?
Colin is just Colin. Every single person who has ever spoken to him has reported the same things. It is no wonder that 'everyone loves Colin!'
I am really looking forward to his next interview on 'This Morning' on Tuesday (if that really takes place)

That was really nice, they seem like a real fun bunch to be around. Once again, we see how committed Colin is to his craft. I do sometimes wonder if Bradley feels overshadowed in his acting career by Colin- maybe not In a bad way, but sometimes with peers of your age and in the same line of work...?

Yeah. I thought the same when I read about Bradley being so competitive ()but then deleted it from my comment). It must have been hard for him to see Colin so much in the focus of attention and getting all the rewards etc. even of he loves him as a friend!
I have wondered if that was also one of the reasons why he did not want to do any more Merlin.

I think the 'competitive' about Bradley meant his attitude in sports and games and things like that. Playfully. When it comes to work Bradley clearly appears to be a team player. In all the 'Behind the scenes' and interviews they did and at Cons and other events he did with Colin Bradley always enjoyed being with somebody while in focus - that was obvious. And then his reaction when Colin got the Award! Bradley always supported the attention Colin got and I think he enjoyed his position in the cast.
That he takes his time now with another project shows that there is no competiton in 'getting jobs' - because I am sure he got offers. I think he wants the next thing to be something he feels similarly good with. That's not easy to find.
