I think it's actually a press text (they're usually provided by Shine/Fremantle) and someone who knows how to pronounce "Eoin" correctly got it wrong by writing "Owen". :P

I would have had the pronunciation wrong, if I hadn't been a fan of the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer. So mostly I'm just teasing. I thought perhaps it was an audio interview, transcribed.
