rippleworld.com YESSSSSS, FINALLY WE GET TO KNOW WHAT COLIN'S PROJECT FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS IS! *SQUEE*
According to
iftn.ie it's an Irish (OMG, COLIN'LL BE ALLOWED TO USE HIS OWN ACCENT I HOPE!!!) film called
PARKED and includes a great cast like Colm Meaney (The Damned United), Colin Morgan (Merlin), Milka Ahlroth (Twisted Roots), Stuart Graham (Hunger), Michael McElhatton (Happy Ever Afters) and David Wilmott (I Went Down).
Filming starts on Monday January 10th around Dublin and the film is due to be delivered in July 2010!

So which role's Colin going to play?
WARNING:Quite likely a MAJOR SPOILER for Colin's character (because it's almost for certain that he's going to play this character) behind the cut! For sure there are spoilers/speculations in the comments!
Fred, the mobile homeless man who loses his London-based job at the start of the film or Cathal, the frenzied 21 year old with a serious dope problem.?
I guess he'll play Cathal (what a lovely name! \0/)...
Although I don't want him to play Cathal because of this: About to achieve their goal of getting Fred a house, Cathal suffers a violent beating from his dealers, takes an overdose and dies. (

NOOOOO, I don't want Colin to die! /0\
But I fear he will - taking a look at all the other actors he's the only one who can play a 21 old with a serious dope problem. COLIN'S GOING TO DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE! *sobs in advance*

David Wilmott *****
But I really like this: “Darragh (Byrne, Director) calls ‘Parked’ a drama-comedy with a small ‘c’. I think it could be described as either a drama or comedy-drama because they tend to be funny in places but with strong underlying drama.”
Even if his character dies (OMG, I have no idea how to endure that D:), I'm so damn excited and happy for Colin that he'll play in an IRISH film in IRELAND with an IRISH crew and therefore I'm sure he'll speak with his very own wonderful IRISH accent! ♥
