3rd batch of pics

A message from Louise Wylie, Director, Media Relations Arts Council England
Hi everyone

I hope you enjoyed watching our interview with the lovely Anthony Head, and taking a stroll through the accompanying photos, both of which we posted yesterday. Isn't Tony fantastic? And it's brilliant news that he is back on stage at the Old Vic, London from January 8th until April 2nd in Six Degrees of Separation. Although the Old Vic isn't a member of the ANLO scheme, they have some great ticket deals for young people - and some pretty good ones for us seasoned folks, too! So I hope many of you will be able to go watch Tony do his stuff 'on the boards' in the New Year. I'll certainly be there.

Meanwhile, here we are with our last Colin and Bradley picspam of 2009. Yes, it's true - even ANLO and its notoriously lengthy interview/photo sessions finally ran out of pics.

(Truefax: Louise: "Thank you so much Colin." Colin: "It was a pleasure." Louise: "Please tell Bradley that - we're hoping he'll do an interview for us, too. And by the way I'm sorry the car's taking so long..." Colin (grinning): "Sure, I'll tell him you're great fun...but you never let people go...")

I hope you enjoy the accompanying photos. And I want to assure everyone that we have equal amounts of love for Bradley AND Colin! The only reason there are fewer pics of Colin (and indeed why his interview is shorter) is that our meeting with Colin was planned for later in the day than our meeting with Bradley and, due to a road accident, Colin and I got stuck in a traffic jam for an hour on the way to the theatre. We had to clear the theatre space in time for that evening's show, so we sadly had less time to record and shoot.

Pictures of Bradley and Colin together? Keep your fingers crossed that our plans work out for early next year. Everything is subject to work commitments, of course (and when a general election is called - complicated story) but if all goes according to plan, Bradley and Colin will do a 'double act' for us...and I might happen to have a camera or two there. :P

Meanwhile: when you're done looking at the lovely pictures...HEAD ON OVER TO http://www.anightlessordinary.org.uk FOR AN EXCLUSIVE CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM BRADLEY AND COLIN TO ALL THEIR FANS!

>> ♥ BRADLEY's & COLIN'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE ♥ <<

Note by gealach_ros: Some people asked why the wonderful pic (i.e. a 'fan pic') of Bradley and Colin, taken by the lovely mrs_leary, is used for the Christmas message on the ANLO site.
Of course the pic is used with kind permission of mrs_leary! I thought it'd be the perfect pic to accompany the message, especially as Bradley and Colin both told mrs_leary how very much they like it. So I made the suggestion, people got in contact with each other, permission was given et voilà, there it is. ♥

By all means share the love, but please remember: there's a reason the boys' message is only officially available at our site: they both want as many under 26s as possible to take advantage of the ANLO scheme and fall in love with live theatre. So if you're under 26 and live in, or are visiting, England - please give it a go. And if, like me, 26 is just a pleasant memory, please pass the news of the free tickets on to anyone you know who is eligible. Please: keep passing on that web site address!

I'm thrilled "the boys" (fangirl, moi?) were happy to pass their Christmas tidings on via A Night Less Ordinary and I'm looking forward to sharing many other moments like this with you in 2010.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND JOYOUS NEW YEAR, from everyone at the A Night Less Ordinary team at Arts Council England. It's been a magical 2009 and we look forward to sharing an equally transformational 2010 will you all!

Louise x
