I only really noticed their bff-ness at Friday's game. Parental!Miro is too gorgeous to handle, really. Also, the comment about Merkel/Basti cracked me up. Also, it made me want to hug Mesut. (I suppose someone can send Sami to do that for me, as long as I get pictures.)

I enjoyed this fic enormously. The voice of experience - not all of it happy, and the much younger player learning some lessons from him. I think what struck me the most is that for all the team's success recently, there have still been some really tough moments. You captured a lot of the subtext and the emotional ups-and-downs of the team. :D

Finally someone wrote about Miro and Thomas - and very beautifully at that ^_^ I already read a few of your stories and knew before reading that I would like this one as well.

This sentence really floored me: 'There's a pang in Thomas's chest when he remembers that he does, but Miro doesn't.' That is so unbelievingly sad a thought - and I can totally relate. I can't really explain what a devastating thing it will be when Miro isn't around anymore in a few short years *cry*

I want to enjoy every little minute he gives us until then and therefore I hope he will play successful and stays well for as long as it lasts ^^;

Please write more of this pairing, they are such a wonderful duo *please* And maybe you can think about writing something that includes Miro and Marko someday?

I just wanted to make sure because you said you will write more Miro/Thomas: you are aware of this hilarious interview Thomas gave after the Turkey match when getting interrupted live on air by Miro, right? That could really be a moment to go on from. (Not that I want to distract you from anything Miro/Marko, just making sure you didn't miss that, cause it was so great to see them interacting as teammates. When Thomas joked about Miro scoring I so wished he would score himself again, it's such a pity.
