I don't like acoustic guitar

I've legitimately tried to like it for a long time but I just can't. I mean I guess it compliments some music but I can't listen to artists that are mostly ~acoustic~ outside of like, Nick Drake. It just bores the hell out of me.

Does this apply to anybody else? I feel like I'm the only one. Am I just listening to the wrong stuff?

Playing classical guitar opened me up to acoustic some more. I feel like it's a good approach to acoustic from the other side than electric. Try listening to some classical stuff. I still think most acoustic is shit though. All guitars sound the same when you play it like some faggot strumming the same 5 chords in open position though, and that's probably what you don't like.

Anyway, try listening to some classical guitar then approach that stuff:

I like this a lot. One reason I don't really like acoustic guitar is because it's basically just passive ambience which sounds stupid and this is nothing like that. It's almost like it's an actual instrument!
