So, Monday, I was totally in love with my DVR. As usual, I totally forgot about the first episode of Dancing With The Stars, but my DVR did not. This is the first time I've seen the first ep, got to watch everybody dance (Denise Richards is just scary, really. But the naked guy from that show I never watched -- Oh. My. God. *fanning self*)

* Avenue Q - This won a Tony? Seriously? Why? It's not that there weren't a few entertaining moment, but that's all there were. Every funny bit was stretched so far that you could see through it. Seriously, a Tony?

I swear it only got the Tony because everyone thought Wicked would be a flop and it smacked box office records all over the place. I felt there was a real resentment about Wicked's success. I watched a behind the scenes on Broadway dvd that was made the year Wicked/Avenue Q etc started out and the knives were out for Wicked from the get go.

Thank you! Because I seriously couldn't understand how that play could be a Tony award winner. It's not horrible, but it's not exactly great either. My reaction to it was mostly "Meh" and two people on one side of me and one on the other side left during intermission and never came back. I've never seen that happen at any of the plays.
