[ Okay, so Klavier has never really been a busker, but when got one of his guitars back in the mail that day, he immediately wanted to go test it and show his skills to people. So what if he had given up the rockstar lifestyle, he still loved to perform and get people's attention to himself

[Sebastian is walking sulking something in between those two emotions around Mayfield, investigating things. He's not quite enjoying the lack of his well, being a demon, and even more so the lack of his contract with Ciel.

However he stops when he hears the music.

...He hasn't quite heard anything like that before. And he's quite cultured on music and etiquette. Pity for him he comes from the 1890's, though.]

Excuse me sir, what kind of an instrument is that? [He's looking at it quite surprised, actually.]

[gaydrill]

[ Klavier pauses his playing to look at Sebastian, blinking his eyes and giving a slightly amused smile, as he was quite sure a guitar was quite the well-known instrument. ]

Ah, this? [ He lifts it up a bit, stroking its neck gently. ] It's an acoustic guitar. Is this your first time seeing one?

[perfect_service]

[Well he's seen a guitar, but not one that looks like that, in any case. He starts to look it over.]

I am familiar with the guitar but it looks quite different.

[gaydrill]

[ He places the said guitar back into his lap, looking at it thoughtfully. ]

Mm, what kind of a guitar are you familiar with, then?

[bogusmagicker]

[What a coincidence. Barely 5 minutes after he has begun to play, a girl walks up holding a guitar in her hands. She stares at him silently for several moments.]

[gaydrill]

Ah, a fellow guitarist?

[ He smiled. How about they jam together, y/n? ]

[bogusmagicker]

[Yuki will have to be convinced first by some means or other. Because the reason she is here is -- ]

A donation.

[gaydrill]

A donation? And by that you mean what exactly, Fräulein?

[hourai_branch]

[Claps]

[gaydrill]

[ Oh he hadn't noticed her while concentrating on playing his guitar. But he gives a small bow and flashed a smile for the girl. ]

I take it you enjoyed the show, Fräulein?

[hourai_branch]

I did. Are you a professional?

[gaydrill]

I used to be, but nowadays I mostly play for practice and fun.

[glowing_science]

[Ema is not surprised to learn from one of Klavier's drone children that he is in the park upon receiving a guitar. It hadn't occurred to her before now that he's been here without his babies for three weeks. He's probably been going nuts. Still, it seems rude of him to skip out after convincing her to come over. Good thing it's a nice day, or Ema would have remained annoyed the whole walk there. By the time she arrives to the spot where he's sitting, she's actually happy for the excuse to enjoy the weather and pretend that this is normal.

She smirks as she tosses a few coins into his guitar case before taking a seat next to him.] And here I thought being a lawyer would pay well in this place. Guess not.

[gaydrill]

[ Busy playing with his guitar, Klavier doesn't notice Ema arriving until he hears the few clings the coins make when they hit the bottom of the case. Well, he hadn't been expecting that as he had only placed the case there in a hurry and had never really considered someone might think he was trying to earn some money with his playing.

But it makes him lift his head from the guitar to Ema and for the briefest moment he looks utterly surprised, but since this is Klavier we are talking about, he soon just flashed her a smile and makes some room for her on the bench. ]

I missed some work while in Westport, so I had to come up with another way of earning some money. [ He chuckles, still fingering with the guitar, but at least now the melody is quieter. ] Fancy seeing you here, Fräulein Detective. Did you came to enjoy my fall from a famous rockstar to a busker?

[glowing_science]

[Ema can't help but be secretly pleased with herself, catching Klavier Gavin off-guard. It's not a common occurrence.] Is that so? You'd think they'd offer some kind of paid leave for random freakish occurrences in this city, as often as I've been told they happen.

I'm here because I said I'd come see you. And you migrated to the park, so I had to follow. That's all. [Ema might have found some sort of mean-spirited amusement in the fact that Klavier was playing in a park if they were back home, but here it's just colored by the whole situation, which takes the fun out of it so to speak.]

[gaydrill]

I guess they were angry at me for missing a few weeks of work, before somebody actually bothered to call and inform me that I do indeed have a job here.

You didn't give me a precise time when you'd be arriving, so I assumed I could come here to play before meeting you. But at least I informed my "children" I'd be playing in the park and you didn't have to look around the town for me, ja? [ He chuckled and finally stopped playing with the guitar, now turning his complete attention to the woman next to him. ] I should say it's been a while, Fräulein, or at least for me.

[wristsniper]

[Well, isn't Olivier meeting all sorts of people on her walk today? Having finally decided to leave the house, Olivier approaches Klavier on the bench. She's just been at the school, having a nice little brawl with Jecht, so she's a bit tattered and worse for the wear. However, she looks alive and content as she stands and waits for the end of whatever song he's playing.]

[gaydrill]

[ Wow, playing guitar in the park certainly is a good way to meet people and get their attention. This time Klavier actually notices the person approaching him, but doesn't want to end his playing so suddenly, so he calmly plays the song to and end, before looking up and flashing a smile. ]

Generalmajor Armstrong. It's nice to see you.

[wristsniper]

[She favors him with an appreciative head tilt.]

You as well. So, it seems you're not just a lawyer. Any other hidden talents?

[gaydrill]

Nein, I'm just a lawyer. Music is merely a hobby of mine nowadays.

[ He shrugs, flicking his hair and motioning Olivier to take a seat next to him, if she doesn't mind. ]

Mm, I don't want to give away my hidden talents so easily, if there are any. It wouldn't be as interesting as finding them out on your own, ja?
