I'm ashamed to say my status 98% of the time would fall into the "lurker" category for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that I never have anything exciting to write about in my fangirl life, and number two, who has time after being a doctor/wife/mommy all dang day?
Anyway,

As far as Trek goes, The first time I watched any ST was the reboot. On my to-do list is the rest of the series, but old!Kirk just isn't anywhere as cute Chris Pine is. lol

A-MEN! I liked what you said about eating Ryan Robbins on a biscuit. I'm more a a Chris Heyerdahl and Jonathon Young (Tesla) girl myself, but Ryan is yummy too! And he seems really nice, if his facebook fan page is any indication.
I am so very glad to know that I'm not the only Stargate devotee that finds watching Universe almost as bad as pulling teeth. For a while there I was thinking that something must be wrong with me because I don't like it. But... like a faithful fan, I've suffered through every episode so far. I keep HOPING that one week it will miraculously be better. I think that hope is the only think keeping me watching. Well, that and the possibility of seeing guest stars from Atlantis and SG-1.

As far as SGU, all the fan comments were negative at first, but now everyone seems to have drunk the Kool-aid and think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Not. I can't even listen to the Gateworld podcast anymore because those dudes *worship* the show and it makes me wanna barf. They treat SGA like the red-headed stepchild and I'm sick of it. I guess what this rambling is trying to say is that I also only watch SGU in hopes of seeing a glimpse of other SG actors. I've seen every ep like you, but I definitely watch the clock until Sanctuary comes on. I admit it!
