Can someone please tell me how to make a cut in my lj entry? Because very soon I will be posting my 2007 reading list. But I don't want it to be a regular entry, I want to make a cut to it. Oh, you know what I mean... Help? Please?
In rich text format, there is a button...it looks like a paragraph button, but with a zig zag at the bottom...it will bring up a prompt box for your witty something...then a gray box will appear in your text entry box...that's where you put your stuff you want under the cut...
Or in html format you want to put < lj-cut > without the spaces...
If you want a witty saying or something other than "read more..." you want to do < lj-cut text="Witty something here" > without the spaces between the open and close (greater than, less than symbols)...but leave the space between cut and text... This doesn't work in rich text format.
