Twittering at twitter.com

Many a times, I feel like blogging about my thoughts on something, but not necessarily composing a whole blog entry around it. It is easier to do this at a site which is meant for micro-blogging. So here goes:

I have started twittering at Twitter.com.

Stay tuned in both places or use SuprGlu to get one place view of all my web-activity.

I still remember you making an entry on micro-blogging. And I also remember you having introduced me to blogging 3 years back!

Thanks.

It is just amazing the way, *new forms of thoughts conveying* emerge over the time :-)

http://srid.tumblr.com/ is yet another way of blogging where you share the links with users - is there a term for this linkblogging huh :-) ?

The page says it is a 'tumblelog' and Wikipedia has this definition:

A tumblelog is a variation of a blog, that favors short-form, mixed-media posts over the longer editorial posts frequently associated with blogging. Common post formats found on tumblelogs include links, photos, quotes, dialogues, and video. Unlike blogs, this format is frequently used to share the author's creations, discoveries, or experiences without providing a commentary.

I actually was looking for something like this albeit in a slightly different context. Basically one way to integrate my del.icio.us bookmarks, Flickr photos, Livejournal blogs and my Twitter twitters in one place with slight commentary on them and allowing users to comment and also share their content with us similarly. I don't want another service like Tumblr (atleast not now) because it further increases the number of services where my data is dispersed.
