[She's currently swimming around in the water like the others, with her katana tied to her waist... An odd way to introduce yourself.]

Something is going wrong with the planet. It was not raining in such a way, weeks ago. The ships we are normally on are under repairs.

It is not funny to look like a fish.

Yes. I resisted for as long as I could. When I could no longer breathe the air, I had no choice.

Oh, come on, not even a little?

How long did that take?

You are hardly in position to speak of it. It is likely you will be in a similar situation soon.

After I heard the song, it was merely a day before I was forced to enter the water.

And when I am, I'll still laugh at how silly I'll look.

So whatever it is, it acts pretty fast...

You will laugh at yourself?

It was far easier to resist, until the song began to play.

Sure, why not? I'm pretty ridiculous sometimes.

So the song's not always been here, then?

It is hardly funny when you are forced to be underwater for so long.

No, it began only recently. I do not know the source of it.

Better to make the best of a bad situation, right?

I guess that's just another thing to think about searching for while we're here.

That is true. However, it is important not to underestimate your surroundings.

It is possible we may learn the cause of the other things that have affected us. Somehow, many here have been injured through nightmares.

I guess that's true enough.

[and here, he frowns. that's new.] Nightmares? You mean actually in their sleep?

After receiving the injuries in the dreams, they will wake to find them real. The dream itself seems to be the same. We do not know the cause of it.

That's odd... back on the Crucible, there was a time when we'd fall asleep, have really bad nightmares and then wake up inside some sort of vision of our worst fears, but I've never heard of someone getting hurt inside a dream before.
