I have a question I probably should've asked earlier- Are the wounds from the nightmare like claw-marks, or are they more clean-cut like from a weapon? How distinguishable would they be for someone with experience in both kinds of injuries?

The kind of wound will vary, actually! Depends on the dreamer and what he/she thinks is chasing after and injuring them.

As far as distinguishable-ness, if your character has experience with any kind of injury, they could be able to tell, but the less experience and less medical knowledge of cuts and such, well, it'll just seem like a regular old cut.

Hope that helps!
