[Manjoume's Sphere appears to once again have a mind of its own, because it decided to turn on without his permission or knowledge. He's wandering the storage facilities at the moment - whether he's technically allowed there or not as a civilian, he doesn't care right now

[Asuka's quiet for a moment, trying to find words. She knows the feeling, she agrees so much, but... hesitation is getting the best of her.]

Manjoume-kun... what exactly are you planning on doing?

...And who are you talking to?

[kuroi_sanda]

[He's startled for a moment as he turns toward where he heard that from.]

...that was on.

[Mental facepalm at his Sphere. So much. But he does recover quickly enough.]

I'm going out to see if I can help get the ships free from whatever it is they've gotten stuck in.

...And I'm talking to the Ojamas. [He wouldn't hide it from her. Even if he's not sure if she knows about them where she comes from. He knows she does in his own universe, at least, so...]

...I wonder if I should go too. I should, it's the least I can do.

You... talk to the Ojamas? [A little bewildered at that. She's completely oblivious to spirits for the most part, and though she's noticed him speaking to thin air before, she's always dismissed it as a misinterpretation. She's beginning to rethink her opinion, though, after the whole Dark World fiasco that very nearly had her killed by Duel Monsters she'd never thought actually existed before.]

[grumbling] Stupid Sphere... Why do I always get the ones that like to turn on without permission?

[He hesitates for a moment.] If you want to, I'm sure they could use the help. But only if you're sure.

[He would say that he's worried that if she goes out there she'll get hurt, but he holds his tongue on that one because it's not like he isn't putting himself in danger doing this and yey hypocrisy.]

...Yeah, I talk to them. [Well, all right then. So much for her knowing already.]

[he's just teasing. mostly. also he likes to annoy you.]

[Oh, it's you. He's not in the mood to deal with you right now. (Sorry about him.)]

[he's good at showing up when he's not wanted.]

I don't, particularly. Thinking about going outside? Pity the suits look so familiar, I never liked them.

I guess even after this much time they've never bothered to change their color. But it's not like there's anything else.

[luckily--or perhaps unluckily, depending on one's perspective--the Doctor remembers the conversation about Manjoume's ability to speak to spirits and finds the transmission rather amusing in spite of the increasingly dire situation]

Perhaps they could take up a spot in your helmet if they're really keen on going with you. But then again...[begins to rub the back of his neck]...maybe not. Don't know how big they are, after all, or, well, several other factors, really.

[Manjoume wouldn't have brought it up if he didn't feel comfortable sharing.]

Even if there was room, I'd rather not have their butts in my face the whole time, thanks.

[he bursts out laughing] I knew you could see them, but I thought you meant they were translucent! [he forces himself to stop laughing] I mean, yeah, it's best they don't join you.

They are translucent. That doesn't mean I can't see them when they get up in my face.

[He would dig out their cards to show you what they look like and exactly why he doesn't want their rears in his face, but he's gotten far enough into the space suit that doing that would undo what he's done so far.]
