Oliver had gone to the Uesugi in hopes of getting a hold of Menaeus about what they were going to do next, now that they had some possible locations for their meeting with the Cedirra. Unfortunately, the ship's employees seemed convinced that the commander was too busy to talk to anyone just now, and Oliver had eventually given up arguing. Not wanting to waste a trip to the Uesugi, he'd decided to meet up with some friends, so he went up to the lodging sectors.

All those plans, however, went completely out the window when he instead found Rukia dragging--literally dragging--someone he didn't recognise down the corridor.

Rushing over to her, he immediately started crying out in alarm. "Rukia! You're going to hurt him! What happened? Is he all right?"

Rukia had heard footsteps coming before the actual voice. She struggled to turn her head to look over her shoulder, with Ichigo's head resting to her right. She took two steps to turn her entire form to the side where Oliver was standing. Hmm. She had hoped not to deal with a scene.

At his words, she glanced backwards at the rest of Ichigo's still form, noting his feet were dragging slightly on the ground. "Ah. Yes, it is fine." While somewhat troublesome to have to explain, it was not entirely unexpected. There had always been the possibility someone would ask questions. However, it could prove useful to her in that situation.

"Will you help?"

"'Course I will!" Oliver agreed without a thought. When he reached her, he leaned down and picked up the man's feet, lifting him and attempting to share the weight between them. However, he couldn't help but notice something about the man--rather, something that was missing about him. "Oh God, Rukia, I don't think he's breathing!"

Rukia turned around, carefully adjusting her hold on Ichigo's body. She held up the top half with her hands underneath his shoulders. She appeared only calm and casual about all of it- it was merely a task that needed to be done, after all. It was only somewhat annoying.

"It is fine. He is not supposed to be," she said. Glancing behind her, she began to walk backwards and lead them down the corridor.
