Sorry that they're not as red as you had hoped, but you're going to be very hard-pressed to find true red in dichro, let alone in the smallest sizes. I'm not one to say use the word "impossible" but this is a situation where I'd hesitate very little in using it :/

yeah, I'm beginning to realize that. like I said, I'm not at all upset with you and I think you did a great job describing the plugs, I was just stupidly hoping that you'd be wrong and they'd be super-red ... ridiculous, I know. they're still really pretty and I'm gonna keep my grubby little paws on them until I can wear them in-ear and re-assess them.
