I'm having surgery January 5th and cannot wear any metal at all so before I head to GWS I'd like to see if anyone has any of the following:

2 18g straight bend glass nostril screws, black or clear preferred but I'll look at anything
2 12g no flare or single flared glass plugs with at least 5/8" wearable, any color is fine even if mismatched
1 10g or ( Read more... )

want 12ga (~2mm), want 18ga (~1mm), want 10ga (~2.4mm)

yeah that's a bit too tiny. actually it would fit if I didn't need to put an o-ring to keep it in place. I wear 3/16" in it now and have a bit of extra room.

You should be able to leave older piercings empty for surgery without them shrinking. Have a taper handy.

Some hospitals will not allow any oral or nasal jewelry because of the risk/liability during intubation and similar procedures.

I left a lot of my genital, bridge, and ear jewelry in place during my last two surgeries and signed additional waiver forms.

Wishing you a quick recovery!

Unfortunately everything but my lobes shrinks ridiculously fast, I've had my nostrils for three years but in 5 minutes it's tough to get them back in just from switching jewelry :(
