Valparaiso is an oldish city that keeps getting rebuilt. I went on a tour of the Zaandam when it was here in Seattle a couple of years ago and after showing us the ship, they served us lunch, and it was excellent food. On the Alaskan cruise Christy and I went on, I had a lot of trouble not snacking since the buffet was just one flight below and a few short steps from our cabin.
I'm enjoying your trip reports very very much.
