Speaking of seeing HS friends... it sounds like you're around. (I'm not sure if you got my LJ message, since you seem to be twittering rather than logging in, so this might be out of the blue.) It would be very cool to get together with you, arianhwyvar, and iralith if you have the time in your schedule while you're visiting.
It was rocky, that's for sure, with my mom alternating between ok and panic (and it's so hard for me to know if she's jumping to conclusions!), and my dad with his own idiosincracies (how do you spell that?) under stress.
But we survived, and had some good times too. Penny certainly enjoyed it, and they loved her!
But now we're in Brooklyn! We walked right near your place and by all these places I remember being at with you. What a thing, to be back here. I wish you were here! We would be with you right now.
Yay for 2 kitties! That is so great. I regret not getting ramses's sister.
