Yowza! Forget the new Star Trek movie (well, not really). I've been waiting to see ENDER'S GAME on the big screen since I read it many, many years ago. (I've lost track!)
Yes, it is! He has grown up a bit. (Although the age he was when he played Mordred is more true to Ender's age in the book. However, his age now is how I always pictured it when I was reading. Does that make any sense?)
Ooh, yeah, I can't wait to see this. I wonder how they'll handle the ending - will they show how Ender is wracked with guilt and writes that book? Or just leave it as a Hollywood yay-we-blew-up-the-bad-guys ending?
Yeah, when I was watching I was like, "is this trailer giving too much away or is it just because I know what happens and this trailer is merely designed to bring moviegoers in?"
I hope they keep the ending true to the story. I think it is integral to the story being told. I also think they would have to if there is any intention of proceeding with any of the other books.
