I'm going through a bout of being depressed and trying to be excited at the same time. I hate it when I get like this. I know it's going to pass, but it doesn't help in the meantime ( Read more... )

I'm not sure what's up with LJ. I haven't had any issues myself.

Thanks for the email and the link to the textures. I can always use more!

I'll be excited enough for the both of us and that might help tide you over until you're actually in Chicago.

I can fully understand you not being able to be as excited as you want to be, because of Craig gearing up to leave around the same time. It's one of those things that makes you wonder if you're being paid back for something unknown in some odd kind of karma-like way. I've had a few times in my life when it looked like I was getting something really good - such as moving back to my hometown - only to "pay" for it with something bad - such as having a beloved friend kill himself not long after I was able to move back to my hometown. Logic tells me that life doesn't really work that way, but sometimes it sure does feel as if we're being shoved into the cosmic dung pile, doesn't it?

So, I'll work the shovel double-time, so we don't get buried in it. :-)

Good, I need someone to help with the excitement, lol.

Yes you do have to wonder about those kinds of thing. Everything has to happen at the same time too. That's what really sucks about it. But it is what it is.

And yes, keep shoveling, we don't need anything burying us now!

I've got a big, red snow shovel. No chance of snow anytime soon, but all this shoveling will get my arms in shape for the off chance that some might fall somewhere in my vicinity! :-)
