I suppose I could.... but I want to give them the ratings *ducks quickly*
Normally I wouldn't... BUT..... Fringe needs to gain more of a following. I'm really surprised that there aren't more people watching it. I kind of feel like I need to help keep the ratings up so it stays alive.
Fox gives the party line that they are "thrilled with the devout following that Fringe has" but I am skeptical. Esp since they moved it.
And speaking of Fox..... I need to make another post soon! :D
Hulu, FOD, iTunes and Amazon used to count as ratings. Same goes for TiVo and On Demand viewings.
Apart from iTunes though they all fall under the Audience Research & Measurements portion of ratings and will not count for the ratings over night. It is unclear how much FOX actually cares about those numbers though.
All this data is from 2009, I don't know if anything has changed. But you could have a chance there, Hulu and FOD also count rewatches. :-)
Really? I didn't know that stuff counted towards ratings, that's interesting.
I may check it out. I know that there was controversy over TiVo and others because of the fact that most users skipped over the commercials so advertisers wouldn't count those users in their ratings.
I know now some of them you can't skip the ads, so maybe that was the solution.

I'd go for Supernatural (if I had to choose) because FOX just doesn't deserve ratings :-p
