Yeah it was really her, but because she had been disembodied at the beginning, she rematerialized through the ancient replicator machine as the last model that was programmed in it, which was FRAN.
I'm watching it now - about half way through. As much as I hate to admit it, I like Woolsey. I'm anxious for Sanctuary to start. I only saw one online ep, so I want to see this new setup.
I do wonder though, if the ending might have been different if Tori had agreed to do the episode. I don't know how much of it was plotted out when they first presented it to her and she agreed - could be that the ending was done that way BECAUSE she backed out of doing it (although it does still leave it open for Tori to reprise the role - provided they'd be willing enough to let her).
I'm also very much looking forward to next week. The spoilers have been killing me!
While this episode wasn't up there amongst the good ones, it did do a good job of showing us another side of Woolsey, and that was good, and also to give Rodney and John a Hell of a lot more guilt to live with (because guilt-ridden John and Rodney invariably end up in bed together, comforting one another ).
But yeah, not one of the "OMG, why didn't I tape that!" episodes.
Yep, the flying monkeys seem like much more fun than the disembodied Replicators. You cold almost see the twinkle in John's eyes when they were talking about the monkeys.
Why? What's next week's episode? Does it involve John and Rodney and a tub of yoghurt?
I wish we could have seen the picture on Rodney's laptop better. And of course Rodney's freakout when it came after him. :)
Ooooh, next week Rodney gets sick. Some sort of Pegasus virus that is kind of like Alzheimer's and he reverts back to a child-like state. The spoilers are great and everyone says that DH's acting is phenomenal.
Thanks to your reply I managed to find David Nykl's blog which is very interesting, and I also found the ep links at GateWorld. I know I had that site bookmarked but couldn't find it the other day.

I was more interested in the Olympics. Was it really Weir or not?
