Me too, that dog was SUPER BAMF. I would have been totally screwed. However, it was actually remarkably hilarious once the urge to piddle myself ceased. Brutus was just so happy, and affectionate! HA! Not to mention his owner was a total DISH.

Mondays can apparently be awesome!

Ha yeah, once the fear subsided I think I would have found it hilarious too lol.. Ohh bonus on the guy being a dish ;) did ya get his number, ya know so you can play with Brutus some more? *g*

Yes, I usually enjoy Mondays because I get the house to myself and am able to get it all put back together again LOL

HA. I wish. He had a wedding ring. Besides, I doubt my BF would be greatly amused. A girl can dream however.

Though, I totally wouldn't be apposed to becoming Brutus' bff. What a handsome boy!

OMG I am laughing SO HARD right now! That was an EPIC story and you told it so well! I'm sitting here at my desk, trying to laugh quietly and terrified that I'm going to snort just any second now. A++ - would LOL again :D

Also, I'm glad Brutus was after you to lcik rather than maim. I love dogs too but if I see a 200+ pound ANY kinda dog racing after me, I'm going to have a heart attack on the spot. Then it'll be a moot point anyway.

*snort* Glad I could amuse! It was really was kind of funny. I am still picking pine needles out of my hair actually and there are a few spots on my running gear that look suspiciously like dog drool. :D

Yeah. That sight was INTENSE. I was seriously thinking, damn, I hope they have internet up in heaven, cause otherwise, this is going to SUCK. :D

I know right? If there's no internet in heaven, I'm not sure I really want to go.

Your posts so amuse me - I love it! Seriously though, I'm SO glad it went that way. If that dog had been angry, it could've gone bad in a hurry :S

OMG best Monday story ever! I could picture it all, and you've totally made me bray like a donkey into my office space. :)

Boy! When Brutus decides he likes someone, he really goes for it. :D Glad that guy is giving him a chance. Most people shy away from adopting "damaged" dogs. I've adopted a couple of broken dogs. (Hence the Saint part of my SN)

On the plus side, you got your heart rate up without having to try.

HAW! No kidding. It was practically heart failure! HEE!

Indeed, I totally agree. Apparently while Brutus is not a good 'people dog' (myself excluded obvs) he has bonded quite spectacularly with his owner. He just wouldn't give up on him. It was interesting to talk to him and hear how he eventually won over the big pup.

I have a lot of respect for people like yourself and him. You go into the situation knowing it is likely to be a rough road, but you persevere regardless because you have big hearts. Pretty much like the Patron Saints of Abused/Abandoned/etc puppy dogs.

Regardless of the soreness and the near need for a change of undies I chalk today up as a win. Mondays are rarely this interesting! :D

HAHA! It was funny wasn't it. Honestly I wish someone had gotten a video of us both going arse over tea kettle down into the gully, that would have been HILARIOUS to watch.

Awww, she sounds so cute. Unconditional love is the best isn't it?
