Yes, I know erinm_4600 posted about this, but this is such good news.

William Petersen Welcomes Twins Via Surrogate

It's a boy and a girl for William Petersen.

The CSI actor, 58, and wife Gina Cirone welcomed twins via surrogate on July 5 in Los Angeles, PEOPLE confirms.
On a side note, I am totally disgusted at the rude and vile comments being posted ( Read more... )

Stupid people are stupid. They did the same thing when Nichole Kidman had the audacity to have a baby via a surrogate. *rolls eyes*

Whatever.. I for one am over the moon for them. :)

A majority of the comments are aimed at his age and the age difference between him and Gina.

For whatever reason they choose to have a family through a surrogate is their business.

I know Gina wanted a family and now she has one. I'm happy for them and glad the babies are doing well. :D

Ooyy... He's NOT THAT OLD people.. seriously... Tony Randall was what? 80 soemthing when his very much younger wife had a baby?

Patrick Stewart regularly dates women very much younger than he..

I stand by my comment. Stupid people are stupid. They need to worry about their own back yard and not someone elses.

I agree.. it's their business and their business alone. And yeah... glad the babies are getting healthier. :)

I am randomly bemused that it's mixed gender twins

They're thinking is he'll be 70 when they're 12 and what kind of a father he'll be at that age (a good one if you ask me). I didn't know there was an age limit on when someone can be a parent. Or even a limit on how one can become a parent.

I am, too. I started laughing. :D

Yeah, I followed the source link with Neal's baby Clover and got annoyed pretty quickly. I'll just avoid this one.

I'm just glad everybody's healthy or at least well on their way to being healthy.

The reactions are worse than Neal's baby announcement. :|

Same here. :)

As someone who won't even be able to have her own kids, I think this is wonderful news. The stupidity of people who think that they're holier than everyone else never ceases to amaze me.

I can't understand why people can't rejoice in the fact that two lives were born. Who cares if it was done by nature or science or the ages of the parents; two precious babies were born to a couple who will love them. That's all that matters in my book.

I live by: "Before you remove the splinter from your brother's eye, you must first remove the plank from your own eye."
