The weather people are telling us to watch it too since it may enter the Gulf.

The force of our stares will turn it into a fish storm? That what that ALWAYS sounds like to me.

Fish storm. Heh.

We need to stare harder. I just posted the updated track and it didn't change much.

EEP!

On the up side... you won't have to water. And at least most of Florida will be ending the first week of school.

They're expecting it to be at least a cat 1 hurricane if it stays on this current track when it makes landfall in my backyard.

Is Biz sure she wants to move to Florida? LOL!

Irene will follow us. :|

Mini-Me might get Thursday and Friday off from school if it hits. She'll love that!

She should come and stay with me to experience a storm up close and personal. ;)

I know nothing about hurricanes except that it sounds ridiculously scary and I hope it leaves you alone. I send my icon to watch over you. ♥

This also seems like one of my random attempts to come back from the dead, we should keep an eye on this, y/y?

Thank you!

Hurricanes are basically a big tornado without the funnel cloud, though, hurricanes do spawn tornadoes. The sustained high winds and surge are the most dangerous parts of the storm. The closer to the center you are, the worse the conditions are. If it stays on this track, we'll be very close to the center.

We do have storm shutters on our windows and our roof was upgraded about six years ago to withstand at least a cat 2 storm.

I'll start poking you. :D
