EUReKA and Warehouse are back on tonight!

Aaron Ashmore joins the WH13 cast as the new agent and partner for Pete. Here's an article on Blastr(it is spelled without the 'e') about Aaron on WH13.

The series, which premieres on Syfy tonight at 9 p.m., will introduce Ashmore's character, Steve Jinks, an ATF agent who has the ability to tell when ( Read more... )

I don't follow the show, aside from one half-second clip I've seen of them jumping out the window and landing on the couch.

But WOOOT!

It's a great show, especially when HG Wells is portrayed as being a woman. Wells is an awesome character and I hope they have her back.

I've been thinking of doing a crossover where the Emerald ends up in the Warehouse after being mistaken for an artifact. Garrett, Wyatt, DG and the crew travel to the Other Side to get it back. Pete is all, "Oh my God, the Wizard of Oz is true! I loved that movie!"

AfterElton had an interview with Aaron Ashmore about the new Jinks character. They talked a little bit about the gay angle and they even said that it isn't overt, just something in the back of his mind. The interview also had remarks from one of the producers who clarified that while they attempted to introduce romance in the past, they realize it just isn't a good way to focus the show. So a mention of Jinks being gay may come up, but don't count on extended dating/flirting scenes, and not because he's gay. They're toning down the romance all around ( ... )

Glad to hear that they're going to tone down the romance. It really didn't work on WH13. Even my hubby asked, 'Why do they have to say he's gay?' I told him when they cast a minority character, it's easy to see (like Ms. Federick), but for a gay character, not so much. And to have said gay character played by a straight actor is something the producers felt they needed to announce, mainly to the LGBT community ('Even gay characters can be strong.') I maybe off with why they did it, but it's the best reason I could come up with. It truly is a diverse show ( ... )

I didn't watch Alphas. How was it?

I was glad to see Myka come back, too. Seeing HG was great, even though she was a hologram. I like Jinks, he's a great addition and you could tell Aaron was having fun.

Zane's pessimism was really getting on Fargo's nerves and I loved that bit of tension between them concerning Jo. They both love her, but Fargo knows that Jo loved Zane.

Fargo scratching the ISS: I would have left a note on the window. :D

That's right, Haven premiers this week, too.

Loved the Shakespeare-centric plot (why yes, that's my elitism showing), and Peter's 'Bird of Avon' and 'Walter Shakespeare' lines had me laughing.

I do hope New Guy's not going to keep saying 'You're lying' all the time - that could get old very quickly!

And Myka! Thank god Myka was back - and HG Wells! Eee! *bounces and flails*

You elitist!

I thought of you when I saw Myka and HG. Okay, I cheered, too. Glad to see Pete is still Pete.

Jinks' ability is pretty cool, but yeah, I can see where it can get old. But for me, it's not something that is bothersome.

My only nitpick is Claudia played Jimi Hendricks' guitar wrong (and unless you're a Jimi Hendricks' fan, you wouldn't know), but overall, I loved the episode. :D

*smirks*

I confess to shipping Myka and HG! :D

As if Pete could ever be anyone but Pete!

I will get irritated if he says it too often per episode. But yes, it's a cool talent.

Well, to be fair, Claudia is NOT Jimi Hendrix!!

I can see the ship. *nods*

The thing with the guitar is, she wouldn't have been able to play it, at least not like that. The strings would be flipped for a left-handed player.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a show-killer for me, it just made me go, 'Oopsie.' :D
