All but the last two chapters are done (they're in the hands of my beta). This has chapters 1-4. Chapters 5-Epilogue will be in the next post. Sorry, but I have to do this in two posts due to size limits.

My card is here.

They had four rocking chairs on the porch as it was. (Isabelle didn’t want her home to look like Cracker Barrel.) -- That cracked me up.

(When he’s with Adora, family, or close friends, they call him ‘Wyatt. When he’s with other officers or other people, he’s ‘Cain’. I know some people don’t like that, but I like to differentiate the relationship he has with different people.) *Scratches head* Must be coming from people who don't bother studying original fiction techniques. I know I've ran across that suggestion before.

“I think it’s appalling that one of your own - while on duty and in uniform, I might add - would drink himself into a stupor,” the patron replied. (It takes more than one drink for Wyatt to be in a stupor. Ask Adora, Rebecca, and Garrett.) -- Not to mention his bulk. :p

And I'm slowly working through tabs I've had open at home for about a month. Let's just pretend July and my paying job stress never happened, okay?

I don't remember where I saw some people commenting that they didn't like fics where he was called 'Wyatt' and 'Cain' in the same story by different characters. He should be called either 'Wyatt' or 'Cain' not both. It doesn't make any sense to me. I would think personal relationships and situations would call for how characters refer to him.

Sounds good to me. :)
