That's a very interesting and terrible title! But I hope it goes well.

Yeah, well, given that it's a comedy, I'm not surprised at the title.

I hope it does well too.

It's already been filmed - that's why he was in the US for three weeks during October.

Well, I figured it was filmed already if the network saw the pilot. :D

The news is that the network is going to air the pilot. They tend to keep these things underwraps until the network decides to air a pilot for a possible new series.

Ah. I've no idea how the American TV system works - we rarely have pilots. Usually they make a season of a show, then air it... If it does well, they make more - otherwise they don't!

Yeah, it's wacky here.

They make a pilot then show it to the network. If they like it, they'll air the pilot. If it does well, then they'll greenlight the project for thirteen episodes (depending upon the network). If it does well, then they'll film more episodes.

Some networks won't invest in a 22 - 24 episode season until they see the ratings. Unfortunately, they tend to cancel shows if they don't see good ratings within the first five episodes it seems.

Oh goody, another show for NBC to cancel in favor of "Dateline & Order: America's Next Top Dancing Thin Person Who Used To Be Fat: Indianapolis Edition (Brought To You By Jay Leno)".

Not that I'm bitter or kinda hate that network right now or anything.

I don't watch a lot of network television. They don't allow their shows to grow.

NBC is certainly trying to take advantage of Tennant's star power.

I'll tune into check it out.

Though I really would like a filmed performance of him and Patrick Stewart doing Hamlet.

Me too.

I thought I read somewhere that they were going to make that available on DVD or something. Or maybe it was dream...

Wouldn't surprise me, I often dream of stuff I want like that. The second half of Gargoyles season two on DVD, etc. *Sigh*

I saw that this morning. And I have issues with the first sentence, because it's just stupid...

But that's my opinion, of course ;)
