Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights) is overseeing another drama in development at NBC, a modern-day take on The Wizard of Oz, Variety reported.

Dorothy Gale comes from Friday Night Lights writer Bridget Carpenter, who's executive-producing; Katims will serve as a nonwriting executive producer
