Hi! Long time no talk - hope everyone is doing well.

Two things:

1) I now want Joe Flanigan and David Hewlitt to guest on House as a gay couple. How nice would that be: more visibility for them, a big ol' present for the SGA McShep fanvid makers, and of course lots of juicy parallels to House and Wilson's relationship. Yum.

And I agree with point number one. It would be ridiculously awesome, and now I want to read a fic of that.

As for #2, while "Written by the Victors" *is* an awesome story, between all the fics at mcshep_match and sgabigbang I can't even decide which ones to rec. And that's not even mentioning the many fics that came before, after, and in between. Too many awesomeness has been written this year.

I for one will be saddened if the runner up wins most of it; it'll be like the Oscars, no surprises, just more of the same ol', same ol' of everyone voting for the most popular and well-known titles. I'd love to be surprised and find stories I haven't even heard of at the awards, winning even. That would be the true win.
