Those are totally awesome! Do you have any idea what kind of lighting stuff your friend used (if any at all)? Would love to know.

he just used a puffer diffuser and his onboard flash! pretty amazing for a $20 piece of plastic. :)

No kidding! Those are great shots! I've been toying with a lot of Strobist style lighting and I'm still amazed at how simple lighting can make such a big impact.
