It's sunny and -27F without taking the wind into consideration. I have no hot water in the kitchen, though the hot and cold taps work everywhere else. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about a thaw while I'm at work

Well, it's still sunny, and at 2 PM it has warmed up to -18F. ;) The projected high temp for today is -15F.

Since most women I know have the same reaction you do.... -27?!? no frelling way dude. I suspect I need to look into getting a dog for warmth and companionship. ;)

btw, the overnight temp is a bit colder than -27, and with the wind the relative temps get well below -40.
