OOC: Hank and Irene!

Since the ever-wonderful merryirene has recently come to live with Hank at the mansion, I thought it might be nice to show you all that Irene-mun and I haven't pulled the pairing entirely out of nowhere (or, more precisely, out of the fluke results of an internet quiz). Also, isn't this the story where the "Dark Mother" mentioned got plastic surgery to look like Jean?

Hank is probably the only person in the world who can actually grasp the crazy Irene has seen. "Well, yes, I held your employer in my arms when he was a baby. His dad is one of my best friends. So is his not!mom. And people try to clone her all the time. No big deal, really. It all makes sense with science!"

I can't decide whether my favorite part is "CONVENTIONAL science would say it's impossible" (to placate the hardline skepticism of Marvel audiences) -- or Cable rubbing random ointment on himself.

What kind of ointment do you think Cable uses?

I already thanked you over there, but thank you again! I'll gladly add House back (though I'm afraid I don't have as much time to check Hank's flist as I'd like). But it always makes me feel warm and fuzzy (just like Hank!) when people like what I write for him, so thank you for commenting.
