So I guess everybody else (like me) was too busy actually watching to comment at the time? ;)

Random thoughts:

Trial of the week stuff: Nice seeing Annie from Life on Mars in something again. I thought Andrew Scott was excellent as the Captain but the ending felt a little too pat. Sweet but a little too twee.

Alun Armstrong being awkwardly uncomfortable about the whole subject was hilarious (particularly the scene in the molly house).

Outside the Bailey stuff: Sir Arthur is really being a dick, isn't he? I do feel a little for him that he knows he's lost his wife's affections (and I think he does - or did - love her) but he's started acting more and more like a four year old jealous of someone else playing with his toys.

I hate his attorney far more. That guy's a total creep.

And was I the only one disappointed that Garrow and Sarah didn't decide that "since everybody thinks we did..."?

Another excellent episode. Both in and out of the courtroom. And brilliantly acted by everyone.

Amen! But I too feel for him a little. I think he did (& does) love her and he's acting out of hurt. It's really all his 'advisers' that have persuaded him to take this course of action and hopefully he'll snap out of it before it's too late. But yes, he is acting like a jealous child.

I hate his attorney far more. That guy's a total creep.
Oh, me too! I just want to strangle him half of the time and club him over the head with the nearest blunt instrument the other half!

was I the only one disappointed that Garrow and Sarah didn't decide that "since everybody thinks we did..."?
NO! *Points to icon*

And I can't hardly wait for the next epi! Does anyone know when it'll be on?

Can't watch it yet. Dammit! Will return with my thoughts once I've obtained (and watched) the epi...

I think that was the lesson of this whole episode actually: Sometimes people do stupid things to/for the people they love. Still, you're really endearing yourself to her this way aren't you, mate? Here's hoping evil adviser lawyer of evil gets his comeuppance in the series finale.

And was I the only one disappointed that Garrow and Sarah didn't decide that "since everybody thinks we did..."?

Definitely not! [hopefully they are only saving that pleasure for the last episode....]
