I just overheard a conversation in my elevator that I'm pretty sure I heard wrong, but only certain parts wrong.

Here's what I heard.

"I was at the airport until 3 waiting for my nephews flight."

"Delayed?"

"Yeah. They kept pushing it back an hour each hour."

"Where was he coming from?"

"Hammy. But they routed him through Damuse."

"Ah."

Maybe you heard it wrong, try it this way:

Hammy Butt? - Newphew's nickname

They routed him through da muse. - An answer saying why Hammy Butt is returning (he was defeated through use of "the Muse"). Said with a Chicago accent

Were they of "Middle Eastern Descent"? If so they were speaking in a very complex coded speak of none other than SYRIA!! Hammy = Hama and Damuse = Damas which is another way of saying Damascus!!
