So, when I first realized I wasn't going to get Amber's birthday present done in time this year, I thought, 'it's okay, I can make sure it's only a few days late'. Heh, it's not quite that exciting, but... I am hoping to add to my resume in such a way that will someday look very attractive to a government anti-fraud agency, whether it's the IRS, FBI or SEC. (And I'm not gonna lie-- the first time I had to call police dispatch to verify a badge number so I could release information? I was thinking, 'This is so damn awesome.") ^_^

Thank you! I really did enjoy my other job, but the extraneous details like management and office politics were severely detracting from any sense of accomplishment I was able to derive. There's always politics, no matter what department you're in, but I appreciate the opportunity for a fresh start and, as you said, doing something I love.

I'm so glad you like the picture! I was inspired the other day when you made the comment about Alfie's wedding being the saddest day of Jerome's life. ^_^;;; I do not have a tumblr, but maybe I should get one. Between this and the XMFC fandom, I have enough reason to.
