For the most part, things have been good-- absolute chaos, especially in the immediate family, but good never the less. I love you. I am glad that things are looking up a bit for you and the family.

But this... I saw a service member speak about this in college, and the whole idea of it, the treatment and the awfulness... You write very movingly here.

I'm gratified you found the writing moving, because I feel so very strongly about the subject. It seems horrible to me that our servicemen and women should experience a violation like that, only to be betrayed again in turn when they ask for help.
