My roommate was watching this episode in the other room and I wandered in for the interrogation scene and was like... well, this is absurd, and walked right out again. Strangely enough, though, I saw the lady from SVU on the street not two days ago.
Oh, I wish I had walked out or turned it off. Unfortunately, Wednesday night is the night my brother and I "bond" by watching SVU. He was just as mortified, but I guess he couldn't really believe anyone would be so phenomenally stupid, so he kept insisting I stay. 'They'll fix it, I bet they'll fix it,' he kept saying. When they didn't I told him he just damn well better bring me some chocolates for next week, to ease my trauma.
Strangely enough, though, I saw the lady from SVU on the street not two days ago. Really? That's weird! The female detective, played by Marishka whatshername? Normally, I really love watching her, but everything about that episode was cringe-worthy. I need ret-con. ^_^ -Meredith
