Ohhh, look at the spinning galaxies. ^__^;; Finally got off my bottom and redecorated my lj, which is really just a small symptom of a larger mid-summer cleaning virus that seems to have taken hold of me. I normally do a dust/vaccuum sweep of the house every week to ten days, but I've been digging through closets and scrubbing down on a large scale

Eee. I'm excited for the new film. The promo pics made me even happier than the trailer, I think, since the promo pics had more characters.
Emo Draco is emo! http://www.imdb.com/media/rm575117056/tt0417741 Is it too much to hope, I wonder, for the crying-in-the-bathroom to be left in?
...I cannot believe I'm in the mood to write HP fic again. How odd.

*grins* Well, I know you would understand!
The promo pics you sent made me happy, too! The trailer is so dark and flashback-oriented-- it's nice to see some of the regular characters. ^_^ And oh, Draco, you look like you've enrolled in mortuary school! *giggles madly* I'd love to see the crying-in-the-bathroom scene, but I'm not sure the actor could pull it off. But maybe I'm not giving him enough credit-- Draco didn't really have a big roll in GOF or OotP, did he?

Me too. But I want to write Lily/Severus, which is wrong. ^_~
(I like the pairing, to be honest, but Snape in any romantic context is... strange.)

(I never really cared either way about Draco until I started to talk HP with Erin a few years back, but now I find it annoying that he's been so tiny a part of the movies.)
Nothing wrong with Lily/Severus! :) And yes, it's tricky to write Snape that way, but it can be done, and certainly by someone with your talents as a writer.

The Harry Potter trailer rocked, didn't it? Tom Riddle was finally presented as the tragic figure that Rowling first hinted he would be, only to chicken out at the last minute.

I'll send out a search party if I don't hear from you in a day or so. ;-D Wouldn't want you kidnapped by dust-Jawas, or anything.

I'm not the only one who feels that way! *clutches Leia_N* I had a lot of sympathy for Tom in the beginning, especially having been in a Muggle orphanage. And the 'dead-mother'/'hateful-father' seemed almost as if Rowling was playing on a myth figure, going for the savior-who-falls motif.
But it was not to be, was it?

Torchwood. It's like crack, Leigh, I swear. But I love it so. ^_^
It was so nice to finally get into that zone again, you know? I've really missed it, but it was almost literally as if I'd run out of juice. *hugs* I think you said in June that you'd managed to write a little, too. Maybe we're on the same cycle. *wink*
