Seriously. They are like Flynn and Provenza on The Closer: I cannot manage to imagine a scenario in which their doing it really seems plausibly in-character, and yet at the same time it is impossible to fully convince myself that they're not.
Also, Hellboy does not want icky old troll ladies to eat the cats.
Hellboy's affection for cats is my favorite thing about the character. ♥
I missed Myers, but even more, I was annoyed at how he was written out. Like. It's not that I really expect better than that from Hellboy, but it was still an irritating detail.
And, I forget, have you seen Iron Man yet? And if so, what did you think?
This may sound weird, but more than missing The 4400 this summer, I've missed talking to you about it. Just mentioning that so that you will know that I have been thinking of you. :)

I actually have two pdf novellas by a fic writer named Melody Clark-- not only are they awesome, in-character SVU fics, they're SVU slash fics with convincing Munch/Fin. The first one is "Love is the Law" and the second the sequel, "Black and White". I've found very little M/F fic, and these two are far and away the best. I can share if you like. ^_^

I was trying to explain my insane love of Hellboy to one of my managers. I said something like, "He's a red, six foot tall bad-ass demon who smokes cigars and loves kitties and babies and pancakes! What about that is *not* awesome?" Now he calls me 'demon-child'. As in, 'Demon-child, you can go home fifteen minutes early tonight, if you want.' That's okay, though. I call him the Grand High Wizard.

Good fic is always a pleasure to share! *grins* There is some steamy stuff in both stories, but there's also great plot, and an added drunken!puppy!elliot. Now with fewer calories! ^_~ Both fics are on Melody's FinMunch Page.
I thought they had an understanding by the end of the movie, so the throwaway joke about Antarctica irked me me a little.
I thought the same thing. It was disappointing, especially since-- unlike Hellboy-- I never saw John as even in the competition for Liz. ^_~ I choose to think Hellboy 'suggested' Antarctica because his aides have a habit of dying, and he didn't want Myers to get his adorable mortal ass killed. *sigh*

I am *so* glad I'm not the only one who sees it. I haven't gotten to see the hotel ep yet (you've given me something to look forward to!). So far, my favorites are the one where Munch and Fin are in the elevator with the teddy bear, and the one where Munch, piqued, asks Fin if he looks like "Fin's Jew", and Fin says, 'Oh, I'd be your boy, John.' There's no way they didn't know what they were doing there.
